this will pop up for only a second or 2, about once a minute. But I’ve never put a clock on it. I’ve assured that I have a wifi network connection while in the garage. I’ve disconnected the battery for about 15 seconds. No matter what I do, it still pops up to “hold on”.
Dude! I’m holding on and it doesn’t help! lol

any further advice or hints?

I wonder what app it's referring to? If you can figure out which app it is I would delete it and then reinstall it if it's something you use.

No indication of what “app” they’re trying to reinstall. Furthermore, I’ve not added any “app” beyond what came with the car. Sometimes electronic gizmos are bewildering.

Here’s an update:
I went to “settings”, “vehicle”, then “running applications”. I stopped some applications that I thought I was not using. I stopped a couple “apps” without changing the note. Once I stopped Amazon Alexa, the note did not reappear. I will continue for the next few days without Alexa to see if the “Hold on…” note stays away. No great loss (no Alexa) to me.
