Have you ever wished to change the unlock function to unlock all the doors instead of just the driver door?

Quite often I've gotten into the car (especially in the winter) and left my passengers standing there with their hands on the door handles looking foolish while I'm oblivious that I forgot to unlock their doors.

So you can change the settings so that when you unlock the driver's door, by default all of the doors unlock. And it should work with the key fob or just pressing the button on the door handle as you walk up.

Do update the settings, select the vehicle settings from the main menu, and look for the "Passive Door Unlock" setting on the options menu:
602

And from there you can select to unlock only the driver's door, or all doors.

Don't leave your significant other(s) stranded in the cold or rain anymore!

This is why I tell people to thoroughly read the owners manual at least once. I have my doors set to unlock all 4, but I can understand why some people wouldn't want to do this, mainly for safety.

I agree, especially with all the tech in cars nowadays. Reading the manual is a must if you want to get the most out of what your vehicle offers. I will attempt to attach the PDF version of the manual, if it's too large to attach just google it and you can download it. I found it much easier to read and search through than the hard copy. I will also make a separate post for anyone looking for the manual.
