Had anyone changed out their transmission oil? Or has everyone had it done at the dealership?I would like to just do it myself, but if it’s a hassle I’d rather take it to the dealer.

Are you talking about a new TB, 2021 model? If so why wont you let dealer? If you do it yourself and it fails under the warranty that could be a problem to get covered.

Correct! 2021 RS model. I just like doing all of my own wok on my cars is all! Dealership is about 2 hours away from where I live, as I live up in the mountains lol. So if I don't have to make a whole day out of just that then I would much rather do it :p

The owners manual states that you shouldn't need to change it under normal driving conditions. Under severe conditions, the interval is 45k miles.
my little guy gets used mostly for work ( I work as a housekeeping manager, so I'm driving around all day and all night)
Plus my fiancé takes it out for a 3 hour+ drive to see her family on the weekends out in the desert. 3hrs that way, 3hrs back, and whatever else she's doing out there. She drives hard and she drives LONG distances.

Sounds like you will need to use the Severe schedule then. I highly recommend using the OEM fluid, it's a great fluid for the price.

I have a life time warranty with mine once the GM ones expire. That company requires I get any work done on components they will fix/replace to be done at my selling dealer or I call them and tell them where I am having work done. If I just did stuff myself does not work for them. Having a recpt from joe smoes shop, bla bla does not work.
