Hello: I recently purchased a new 2021 AWD RS Trailblazer (VIN #: KL79MUSL8MB017453) and recently purchased and had the hitch and the trim cover installed by my dealer. When I picked it up the hitch and trim cover were installed but there is no hookup for trailer lighting.
On the vehicle Monroney sticker, it states: “Trailering equipment 4-wire electrical harness and 4-pin sealed connector for connecting your trailer’s lights to your vehicle Optional trailer hitch makes your vehicle trailer-ready Up to 1,000 lbs. towing capacity May require additional optional equipment”
I’m not sure where to turn to get his resolved. The vehicle sticker stated it has the harness and 4-pin connector already installed. Yet it isn’t there. What does the verbiage on the sticker mean? What do I have to do to get the wiring?
I contacted Chevrolet and they stated I need to go back to the dealer. The dealer says I need to ask GM. Frustrating.
