Trailblazer & Encore GX Not Being Cross-Shopped

Wasn't there a recent article showing sales data amongst this class size CUV's and it showed the Encore sales dipped way down compared to last year? I am pretty sure that is what I saw. To say they don't have the data is denial. The TB has been out for almost two full quarters, and you know they are scratching their heads. Look at the fact the RS model is selling way better than they forecasted. That alone tells you they do not know what the market is.
It is a good surprise for Chevy, but not so good for Buick.

Encore GX sales are definitely cannibalizing some sales of the smaller Encore. The same is true for the Trailblazer and the Trax. That is to be expected. But the article is suggesting that the Trailblazer isn't competing so much with the Encore GX. I think that's probably true. They clearly appeal to very different buyers.
