I understand better now than ever before that the 0-60 time isn't at all a good measure of how quick a car feels. The 1.3L Trailblazer certainly isn't fast, but it feels quick because of responsiveness and a relatively flat torque curve. I still love driving a fast car, but the Trailblazer never feels inadequate, imo.
I completely disagree with many of the reviews by well known magazines about the lack of power or slow acceleration of the Trailblazer. I think the power is adequate for everyday use and if anything it's very zippy around town.
I don't care if it is the slowest, or fastest. I care about it being reliable, and working for my needs.
Never did I think. if this was the slowest vehicle tested that I would refuse to make the purchase. I love how it drives.
