Anyone have a solution for the vast amount of heat being transferred through the sun roof? I can feel it on my head on sunny days. The inside cover is just a thin fabric with no insulation value

There is literally nothing short of wedging some sort of insulation between the interior cover and the glass but if you forget it's there it could cause other issues like getting vound in the track or if it gets damp it could get moldy.

I would look into a light ceramic tint. It would still let light in when you wanted it but it would reflect some of the heat.
