We all know how hard it has been to find a TB at a dealer and if you order a new TB there is usually a long wait (some waiting months, particularly in the East, for a TB). And most dealers have suffered too, for all new cars, due to chip problems. I feel so lucky I got one "hot off the delivery truck" the day it arrived in August. For the heck of it I just checked online for 2 of the 3 Chevrolet dealers in our area. To check entire stock. One dealer had 47 new vehicles. The VAST VAST majority were Silverado trucks. There were 8 Equinox, 2 Blazers, 1 Traverse, 1 Camaro, and one Corvette ($78,900). I was surprised the Equinox seems to be coming in. THERE WERE ZERO TB's. The other dealer only has 12 new vehicles. 5 Equinox, 1 Blazer, 6 of the Silverado trucks. THERE WERE ZERO TB's. (These are dealers in upstate New York). Still hard to get a TB and for that matter most cars.

They are still hard to get. I took mine to the dealer for oil change, look for a rad leak that they say is not there. When I took it in, they had a cert used and one new one. Next day the cert was gone and the new one had temp tags.
They look fresh, the tech in them is good, reviews are good, it is well placed in the segment of other vehicles like it.

Proof right here... Car and Driver top 19 (19?) cross overs, comes on at 8, not so bad and reasons against it perhaps subjective, and could rand a bit better I think.

Reading the about the ones in front off the TB I would buy it all over again. Heck, a trip from Cincy to Nashville I rocked 35 mph avg doing 75/80 mph.

I totally agree with you. The models that were in position 1 thru 7 I would NOT buy before buying a TB. Sometimes you have to wonder at some of these reviews. It seems they did not like the price mostly on the TB. Then again, they used the base LS model as a comparison, but on others did NOT use the base model. The reviews certainly never seem to match sales figures. I mean the top sellers (Toyota, Honda, Nissan Rouge) all were rated like in position 13 or 16. What the reviews seem to like seldom matches what the typical buyer purchases. But it is like ice cream. Some like chocolate some like vanilla.

Just like a lot of other genres, reviewers are usually out of touch with normal people. They test and review hundreds of products, for free, for a short period of time. They are not giving you an honest review, but instead an unboxing.

Our dealer lots are empty as well. I ordered a TB yesterday, RS in Oasis Blue and I cannot wait to get it. They said about two months.
They told you 2 months? Most people's were waiting 5-7 months when you could get them, but lately GM has been canceling all new orders when Trailblazer production halted due to parts and chip shortages. Hopefully you'll get lucky and GM won't cancel your order.

I hope you do get it in 2 months. In most of 2021 people were waiting far, far, longer than that, unless they somehow were lucky enough to find one on at a dealer (rare).
There recently has been a lot of news about GM cancelling orders, etc. But your dealer should have been well aware of this so perhaps even he already had one scheduled for delivery to his dealership. A BIG factor in determining when it comes in has to do a lot with what options you ordered. The base models of each version (Activ, RS, etc.) seem to come in more quickly. The more options the more chance of delay. But trust me, no matter how long you wait you will love it! I too got the RS in August and I could not be happier.

I put a deposit down on a 2022 RS Oasis Blue on December 20, 2021. Thankfully, this particular car was already on the production list for my dealership so I snagged it just in time. I have been checking with both my dealer and chevy.com to find updates. Currently, it is at event code 3450 and on a boat... I am so excited to get it but who knows how much longer I'll have to wait.

Hi - how do you check. I have the order and VIN no from my dealer and would love to check and see where it is in the delivery stage w/o "nagging" the dealership LOL

You can email GM customer service and give them your order number and they should be able to give you an update
Thanks! Do you happen to have an email address for them. I tried doing a "chat" yesterday and they said to contact the dealer that they basically had no idea. The dealer info sheet says "estimated delivery date 5/4/22" just wondering how accurate that is.

When I bought my TB I seem to recall once we did the loan paperwork the vin was assigned to me and my dealer (car was at the factory but built, maybe even on the boat) and they could see to an extent where it was.
