Start/Stop Eliminator Available

There have been a number of threads on here discussing the possibility of disabling the auto stop feature without having to press the button every time you start the car. I made this post about a company that made a device to remember the last setting, but they needed a volunteer vehicle. As far as I can tell they are still waiting for a test vehicle, but someone recently posted in the Facebook group about the same device made by a different company (4D tech).

I did not want to post without trying it out first as I had never heard anything about the company. So, I ordered one recently and it's perfect. The shipping was quick and the installation was astonishingly simple.

EDIT 6/8/22: Before purchasing, see Gypsy833's comments.
Worked for about a month, now it won’t even let you choose disable by pushing the button. Always lets the car turn off no matter what now.
He has also reported a poor customer service response. While this is the only such issue I am aware of, I felt it was proper to note it here.

You can order one here for $99.99. It's a bit pricey, but I think well worth it if, like me, you turn off auto stop every time you drive. Installation video is below to show how easy it is. I should note that this does not work for the sport mode button, if you like to use that you'll have to continue pressing the button every time you drive. Also, this does not eliminate the auto stop feature entirely in that you can still turn it back on with the button if you'd like.

Don’t want to, but I would. Like I said, it’s brand new if someone wants to take the chance. But I’ll likely just toss it

be warned people. maybe this was isolated and the replacement is fine but I’m not going to bother
Really unfortunate problem you are having. Sorry to hear. SawJi has good experience so I am assuming the product does work. Just a thought that perhaps you install replacement and see if it works? If this fails as well I really would request company to accept a refund based on their stated 30 day hassle free return. If they don’t cooperate, a complaint to better business bureau usually helps. Good luck.
Sill no issues since installing mine 5/14.

As others have said things happen in manufacturing and do agree cust service could have been better for you...But I have seen similar with other companies with customer service, when I had my 2010 Camaro SS the aftermarket axles had issues and I had to pay for the shipping which sucked but its how it is today.

The 4D Tech solution simply works and is very easy to install! Highly recommended, a 4 minute install.

If you have another late model GM vehicle with Autostop, you will get a discount for ordering 2. I cannot recommend it enough (although it was a PITA to install on my '21 Silverado!

Did you ever install or sell the new replacement you were sent? I may be interested in the new one if you still have it.
Has anyone tried this solution? The fitment chart shows TBs 2019+ https://www.amazon.com/Disable-Elim...0c7-b74c-b339e2ee8fdc&pd_rd_i=B09W2WX3KS&th=1
I have not tried this or seen any other posts on here regarding it, but for the price it might be worth a shot. Amazon is usually pretty good about returns on non-working products but be careful who the seller is.
Anyone tried this GM Start/Stop Disabler? Just plugs into the ODB port and doesn't require any dash removal and doesn't void any warranty. A little pricey, so I am wondering about some feedback
I have one of these. Works fine, easy to install, excellent quality, no lights on in the dash and the remote start still works.

This is the way... I decided to try this. took a few minutes to plug it in. Initial start up after installing it I got a bunch of alerts in the app, but after shutting it off and turning it back on all of those alerts went away. Its been about 3 months now and this has worked flawlessly.
Do you have the exact one i linked too? I never got any alerts or anything. Its been on my Trailblazer since its left the dealers lot and no problems for over 7000 miles.

I purchased it from the link you posted. I didnt get any codes in the car, but the app had all kinds of alerts. But like i said, they all went away after i turned it off and started it back up. freaked me out at first, but its been trouble free since.
