We own a 2021 RS AWD without the Bose stereo system and it’s lacking a lot in the sound department. Is there anyway to upgrade the door speakers without having to add an additional amp? And is there anyway to make the woofer in the spare tire actually play music?

You can get a decent upgrade in sound by replacing the speakers. I upgraded mine to Recoil REM65 in the front, it made a pretty big difference. Then I added a Kicker KEY 200.4 amp and it really made the sound amazing.

Do those speakers work alright with the factory amp? And could I put those in all 4 doors?

The factory amp pushes 20 Watts per speaker at 4 OHM.

To make them sound louder you need to look for speakers that rated for 2 or 3 OHMs. I have a set of JBLS that I installed Club622 and they sounded much better than the stock speakers on the factory amp. The spare tire woofer will not play music without the Bose system.

I'd also recommend replacing the tweeters with some 3OHM tweeters too.

Is there more bass in those JBL speakers than the factory? That’s what the wife is missing. Is there anything else that I could do to add a little more bass without breaking the bank?

They can tolerate the bass better than the paper factory speakers. A couple people on here have done subs under the seats, and some aren't very expensive either if you are willing to do the work yourself.

I looked on Crutchfield for the JBL speakers but they are out of stock. I was hoping to get them there so I could get the harnesses and brackets to make the swap easy.

I would absolutely wait for Crutchfield to get the speakers back in stock, roughly the same price as amazon but comes with the brackets, wire harnesses and install instructions.
