Hi new to this site need to know if replaced turbo and actuator need to be synced to ECM
ENGINE Diesel 2.8L

I work on Cummins diesel for a living and the vgt on the turbo must be programmed with Cummins software I would think if your turbo controller has a wire harness I would bet it needs to be programmed,buy the way I didn't know you could get the 2.8 in the TB,I'm thinking Colorado

The 2.8 diesel is the same engine found in the Colorado. The South American/Asia version of the Trailblazer is different than the Korean made one that everybody here has. This version of the Trailblazer is based on the Colorado and is really a continuation of the Blazer while the one here in the US is totally different.
