In the current situation with dealers unable to get new cars it is near impossible to give an accurate delivery time. In June I wanted to get an RS (I didn't care which options it had or not, the base RS was satisfactory, but I would accept any options). 3 Chevrolet dealers would not even order one. Due to the long delivery times they could not give any information of my trade in value and there for the final price I would be paying. They just put my name on a waiting list and if ANY rs in colors I wanted (white, red, grey were all okay with me) they would call me. When I didn't hear even a date for one I called them. One dealer would try to get a dealer trade. Was impossible, because in the entire New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania area no dealer had any, had any coming in that were not already sold, and even if they had one were not interested in trading it away. The other dealer had no idea when they would get any. 2 weeks later the dealer who had no idea called me. They just got in 5 or 6 TB's. 3 were RS. One in white. I went immediately and made the purchase. I was over there just the other day looking for a used car for my wife. The same salesman said since August (when I got mine), they have received only 2 TB. I just read on another post on this forum of a guy who ordered in JANUARY and his just arrived. If you want one you better get it ordered. If you could be a little flexible on your options, ask your dealers to call you when they get any TB in so you can have the chance to buy it. They all have waiting (reserved) lists. I just looked on the internet at our local 3 dealers. NONE, not one, has ANY NEW CARS OF ANY MODEL!!! NOT A SINGLE 2022 in stock at any dealer of any Equinox, TB, Traverse, etc.

Has anyone ordered one? I’m having to order one to get the specific one I’m wanting. Looking to see if anyone has ans maybe can give me a rough estimate of a wait time?
Here's a suggestion, I was down in the Houston area two weeks ago. My son works for a Chevy dealer up here in Massachusetts and they can't get inventory. We passed by a Chevy dealership in Pearland, TX I believe and were stunned at how many NEW CARS they had on the lot. Call around to see if they have what you want and worse case fly down and drive her back.

Someone on here had ordered a 2021(there is a post about it) and waited a very long time. I believe deliveries for orders now will be even worse. I have a local Ford dealer near me, and there has been times when they only had a handful of new vehicles. Inventory has definitely fluctuated a lot in recent months. I can't imagine what the wait would be for a spec ordered car. If I was wagering on it, I would put my money on 4 months+ Not trying to discourage you. I would love to see you get exactly what you want.
I would talk with a dealer and see what they are saying.

Interesting. I wonder if all the supply chain stuff has made a bad situation (no chips to make cars) even worse (as the TB's come from Korea they are probably bottlenecked at the ports on the west coast. And those dealers on West Coast (TX for example) are getting the cars first as they can't find drivers to bring them all the way to the east coast states.

The dealership is Bayway Chevy in Pearland, TX. They have a surprising amount of 2021 cars in inventory, I didn't see Trailblazers online though.

I was told months ago that base Trailblazers would be built and the ones with the technology package would have to wait due to the, I hate to say it, chip shortage.

Exactly what I was told and found out in late August when I got my 2022 RS. When the dealer called me (who knew I was on the look out for a new RS), and said he got one in and in the color I wanted (white with black roof), I rushed right over. It was Base RS. I was hesitant because I wanted some options although my heart was not set on them. He told me the same thing, that the VERY FEW TB's they have received (both 2021, but now especially 2022's) are BASE. No Tech packages, no sunroofs with auto tailgates, etc. He said, as you were told, it is chip shortage primarily but also part shortages too (not every part of the car is made in Korea) and with shipments slowed around the world they are not getting all the parts required such options. I didn't get all the options I kind of had in mind but I don't think I could be any happier than I with my TB. Love it "as is". My wife loves to remind me "see you were wanting to spend a lot more money on things that you don't even miss".

I was just offered $36k for my 21 RS AWD which has 11k miles. I only paid $28k for it back in May 2020. This offer was from the Chevrolet dealership where I purchased my Trailblazer. I'm located in California.
