Where can I buy an oil plug for an Activ? Do I have to go back to the dealer?
NAPA doesn't have anything listed.
Thanks in advance.

Curious why you would need one? They dont have a typical drain plug with a crush washer. Its a half turn plastic plug with an o-ring. If it isnt damaged the o-ring may need replacing now and then but it should be fine otherwise.

If you truly need one here is one source.

Napa said that b/c it’s plastic & no threads, the chances of it leaking after putting it back is pretty high & not worth taking. Valvolene didn’t want to do it without a new one ready. Thanks for the link.

Napa doesn't know what they're talking about. The drain plug is reusable, but the o-ring should be replaced every few oil changes to prevent possible leaks. The o-ring can be purchased by itself, GM part number 12667457.
