Hey people my 22 TB with 1.2 engine/cvt auto starting to get a little noisy when I accelerate hard almost sounds like a diesel. The when I back off on the throttle noise stops? 1400 miles on the car the oil level is perfect .when in park and rev it up no noise at all. Ran a full tank of 93 octane still has the same problem. Maybe bad knock sensor? Has anyone had this same problem? I'm thinking appointment to the service department. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Joe

Is the noise new or has it been there since you purchased it? I know the DI injectors are very loud, but they make noise all the time, kind of a tapping/clicking noise. The 1.3 also makes some noise under hard acceleration which sounds odd, but that's just how 3cyl engines sound, they're very unbalanced.

I noticed it early on the first time I got on the Pkway to blend in with 75 mph traffic the harder I accelerate the louder the tapping?
