Just got my 2022 Trailblazer RS and there is no garage door opener. WTF

Yep, it seems everyone is removing that because I remember reading somewhere the company that owns it tried to boost the cost too much. Dunno

Just get a WiFi opener and use your phone

Yea I wondered that when I got mine. Hell, my 07 TB had it integrated into the rear view mirror area. Either way I have an opener so no big deal.

I too recently got my 2022 RS. I too was surprised no garage door opener. And like you I didn't like it. But you know what. My garage door opening remote is about 1 inch by 2 inches. I calmed down, clipped it on my visor near the mirror and realize it is not a problem at and I don't know why I got worked up about it in the first place . I guess it was just because after 4 years with my Equinox I got used to it.

Yeah my remote is same. I was just surprised when I got it home. I didn’t even realize it until I got home. I wasn’t worked up just surprised. Actually made my wife giggle when I told her. She drives the 2021 Subaru Legacy Touring XT. It has everything and was only 2000 more than the TB.

When I say everything I mean leather, heated and cooled seats, 11.5” screen, even notices you when you get in the car and sets the seat and mirrors per your settings.

I love the TB but have to agree that when you compare it features found on other cars it is lacking for the price. For example to get a power tailgate you have to buy $1000+ sunroof!. Why not standard at least on the RS. Why in the world something as simple as blind spot mirrors is not standard amazes me. Especially when it does have other nice safety features, why they left this one out especially on the top model RS. No rear seat USB and/or power standard? I mean what could this possibly cost for them to run one addition "wire" from front USB are, to the read (less than 3 feet). They are all available as options but as I say you have to buy high price packages when then put this model higher price than an Equinox LT with similar equipment.

Yeah it's a real eye opener when you look at the Kia Seltos vs the Trailblazer. Same price as the RS you get a 1.6T, all safety features, leatherette, etc.

Fact is the TB is overpriced fornehat comes with it. Shoot even a Ford edge has a 2.0l twin scroll turbo, huge sunroof and 11" screen let alone the ST. Chevy is slackin big time
