Hi everyone, new member here and wondering if anyone has the 2022 LT with the standard infotainment system? Unfortunately when I ordered mine the upgraded system wasn't an option do to a part shortage and wondering how the speakers are or if I'm gonna end up putting in new speakers. I have about 8 weeks till mine comes in and super excited.

I have the '22 RS also with the standard infotainment system (I would have ordered upgrade but as things are these days you take what you can get and consider yourself lucky to get anything). I am TOTALLY happy with system. TOTALLY. Yes there are advantages to the upgraded system (able to add your own apps for example) but I have discovered through the years sometimes we order options just because they exist and not because they are needed, and in the end we seldom appreciate. I find the sound great and certainly would not consider changing the speakers. The Sirius XM plays with excellent sound. Would the BOSE speakers make a difference? Not sure, but then again I'm not driving my car to and from work, around town shopping, etc., etc., and needing it to sound like my in home system. But I think you will be totally satisfied.

Thanks for the info! I'm one of those that really likes to listen to music loud and for it to sound good. We have a 2016 Silverado with the Bose speakers and I love them! Hoping the standard speakers in the Trailblazer sound close. Thanks!

Welcome to the group!! :) I recently got the 2022 RS with standard speakers and i’m……not very impressed. I was worried about the same thing, but figured stock speakers in 2022 couldn’t be that bad, right???
I came from a Chevy Cruze that had upgraded pioneer speakers, and it has taken me a few weeks to adjust to the TB’s speakers. To me, they aren’t especially loud at all and the bass is….hardly there lol. Overall they aren’t horrid or anything, but I certainly want to upgrade eventually. For most people they’re probably fine but if you’re an avid music lover you may want to upgrade to something else.

Thanks for the input! Our Silverado has the Bose upgrade and I love it, so will probably start looking into replacing the speakers in my Trailblazer with Bose or JBL. Thanks again!

Thanks, I'm super excited! I got pretty much everything else I wanted in it so I'm happy! Ya, they were all sold out where I live, but that's OK cause I'd rather order it and get what I want! Thanks!
Do a search on speakers in the forum. There are quite a few posts about speakers, speaker replacement with BOSE versus after market, etc. Mixed opinions but interesting. Some like me are satisfied as is with standard. Others installed BOSE after they got the car and while satisfied thought the difference better but slight. Most seem the most satisfied when installing just a subwoofer, or a lot did full replacement with after market speakers, such as via Crutchfield. Interesting reading of varied opinions. It is like ice cream. Some like chocolate others hate it and want vanilla :).
