I purchased a 2021 Trailblazer LS AWD without SiriusXM capability. Does anybody know if I'm able to buy a new head unit that has Sirius capability? I'd prefer not to use Android Auto to stream it, and I don't want to buy an aftermarket tuner system from Vais or a similar company. I looked on gmpartsstore.com but I could not find the unit.

Also, how easy is it to replace? I replaced the unit on my 2012 Equinox easily, but it looks like it may take more work on the Trailblazer.

Thanks

If it was me, I would recommend using the Sirius stand alone units and using the 3.5mm jack for the audio input. The head unit looks to be very hard to remove and very expensive.

Well in a thread I started I have the instructions on how to remove the dash and head unit. Good luck. Go with an external SiriumXM unit and use a 3.5MM jack.
