Will putting a J&L oil separator on my car void the warranty? It's using a quart of oil between oil changes.

It might help keep oil out of the intake, but you're still losing the same amount of oil which is probably a problem with one or more cylinder rings. The catch can itself doesn't void your warranty unless it caused a problem, but since it's technically part of the emission system they can harrrass you about it and deny claims based on a modified system.

Thanks for getting back to me. I guess I will just check the oil every 200 to 300 miles. Can't believe a brand new car uses oil.
