So I phoned a dealership close to where I was, asked if they had an AWD trailblazer in stock. Two and a half hours later, I was on the road again in a 2022 Trailblazer LT. (and my old car was left in a friends field awaiting the crusher). I was planning on buying a new car later this year, anyway, and the two contenders were the trailblazer and the GMC Terrain. The trailblazer won out...by being in stock. But, I like the looks of it better, anyway. Glad I have it now. My normal round trip commute to work is over 60 miles, most of it back roads and mountain passes. My old car averaged about 17mpg on the trip. Now I am between 29 and 31, depending on traffic and construction. Savings in gas will make about 1/3 of my payment each month (with the price of gas right now...). It is a fun little car with a lot of room inside.
