Interesting, but not surprising. The Trailblazer is not an off road vehicle, period. The Activ with a little more ground clearance is just for people who travel more on bumpy dirt/gravel roads. If they really wanted to make it off road worthy it would need a softer suspension for more flexing and at least 1 lockable axle, not to mention real skid plates.

That was not a bad review in part. When I popped the hood and first saw a 3 popper in it I knew THEN this is not a real 4x4 for doing things much more then off road gravel roads and snow! I studied the car and knew what I was getting. Nice looking vehicle that can handle some light not so treacherous off roading. Just get me home from work and play if it is snowing out. I would have spent 15k more on a full sized pickup for the big boy stuff.
