Hello all. We have a 2005 trailblazer and am looking for a 2021 trailblazer. They are hard to find in my area here in Missouri. This looks like a great place to learn about them.I want to drive one,I have never drove a 3 cylinder.

The 155 horsepower 1300cc is in my TB. Quite surprising. Peppy is the word I use. A little exhaust drone when lugging at low RPM, but that’s easy to remedy...mash the gas! Stepping out of an Equinox, the acceleration is a bit less, but not much.

We have been looking at escape and explorer but I went into chevy dealer last weekend and there it was.2021 trailblazer. We have owned a trailblazer since 2005 so it was a no brainer for us. They only have two there. A front wheel drive and just got in an awd but its an LT but just a base. no options. I was a few options.

Ymurf,
Welcome. This vehicle is closer to the escape than explorer. If you are looking for towing capabilities, you will be disappointed. This vehicle is not setup for much towing. you may get a very small, lightweight fishing boat and trailer behind it. If you are looking for a fun new vehicle that not many people have yet. I believe you will be impressed. Many people will be skeptical about the 3 cyl. Engine, but isn’ t that true with most things that change. Mine is a base LT awd and the only Option I wished it had was the 8” screen and the dual exhaust look of the Active or RS models. The rest that comes with that package I didn’t find necessary.
What options are you looking for beyond the base model?

It's funny you mentioned the Explorer... I had my Explorer V8 for 14 years and put 240,000 miles on it and still running strong but couldn't afford the new Explorer at those sticker prices.... Looked at the Escape and that seemed a little small coming out of the Explorer I had and it didn't have alot of the bells and whistles I was looking for.... So I did the same as you, just stepped across the street and saw the LT on the Chevy showroom floor but held off since it didn't have a sunroof that I always wanted.

Two days later, the sales person I talked to texted me a picture of the RS as it rolled off the big truck and exactly 4 hours later I signed for it, it didn't even have a dealership stock number when I signed for it lol.... No regrets! ❤

Yeah, Drove the LT I drove today was great. I am sold but it was a base AWD. No options. Now we are on the look out for an optioned LT or a RS. Not many Trailblazers around where I live in Mo. May have to take a drive next week to St Louis.
