Just took delivery on a black AWD RS with all the bells and whistles and can't wait to get her out on the road. Hoping it gets better MPG than my previous 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk got (14PMG!!). Just took it for a little drive down the street there is a faint whistle like noise, you can hear it when the car is decelerating most I think - should I be worried? Or do you think it's something that might go away once the car is broken in a little? I guess it could be the breaks working or something, but it happens before I even push the breaks. The guy who delivered it said it could be the turbo taking in some air though, but I honestly have no idea. Would love some input if anybody has any! Looking forward to being a part of this community!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the purchase of your new RS!! My Trailblazer LT AWD is making the same noise.. I use it as a pedestrian warning system as my dealer can’t seem to duplicate it.

Funny to suggest turbo whistle noise upon deceleration.. I’m running up on 9K miles

Yeah I didn't really buy that. lol. Also, stop/start isn't working either - I did have the air on quite high today though. My previous car had this function too, and sometimes it took some time for the battery to charge. Don't really miss it, but just want to make sure that everything works!

If you are blasting the air then start/stop wont work.

The engine needs to run when the AC compressor is running so auto start/stop is disabled.
