I see no NEEDLE on the gas gauge. It is full with about 45 miles run out on it thus far. The Temp gauge needle is digital and is showing up. I see nothing on the gas gauge. Is it just full and is not showing yet?

brownactive,
You are correct that there is no traditional needle. your gauge on the left should be the tachometer w/ fuel gauge on the bottom. With a full tank you would have eight bars showing. I believe each bar represents 1/8th of a tank of fuel. a bar will disappear each time you have used an 1/8th of a tank of fuel. I personally like to use the estimated mileage range to know how far I can still drive.
One bit of trivial information. There are two different fuel gauges available in the TB's. Higher end models get a little sportier look

I have the TB AWD Active model, pretty much all options but the Sunroof and auto rear lift gate. I will have to keep an eye on the gauge then.
I also noted no needle on the temp gauge at first. Then when I went out and turned it on when I got to work it has a DIGITAL pointer/needle that showed up.

The dots are the gauge, there is no needle like the old gauges, as you use fuel the dots will disappear.
