I took a 24 by 36 poster board with plexiglass and cut it in half. I took some vehicle upholstery I had laying around from a previous project and ironed it. Laid it out correctly on the plexiglass and then use gorilla glue adhesive to sandwich the three pieces together. I used a quality razor blade to notch out the sides so they would fit in the grooves on either side of the cargo area. Then I purchased four sets of hinges. I reinforced the area where the hinges are with some thin particle board and more upholstery. Came out perfect. All together I would say I have a couple hours and about $60 into it. I've seen online where you can buy them for anywhere between $175 to 200 but I enjoy these types of projects.
