Not many trailblazers near me yet.

has anyone had the opportunity to sit in two trailblazers side by side— one with the HD rear camera and one with standard rear camera?

mid so could you actually see a difference or is something like this unnoticeable in real world situations?

I don't know about the standard camera, but the HD camera in my RS is much better than the standard camera in my 2018 ZR2.

Same here: I haven't seen the standard camera on the TB, but the HD is much better than the rear camera on my 2016 CTS.

Has your camera always shown the view like that? When we first got our car it did NOT pick up the lic plate and there were no rounded dark spots on the top left and right. The view was squarely in the screen.

Minnesota plate? I grew up in Aitkin, moved away about 35 years ago, still kind of miss it.

I have the HD camera, and it does not show any part of the plate, and the display is not curved any where near that amount. The image is slightly distorted cars appear shorter than they are, but there is no dark spots on the display.

DC that is how mine was when we got it. We have the BIG screen and the image was nice and squared up in the screen now it is not.

That is how mine looked for about 2800 miles. Now at 3100 it is wacked.

I can't say. I didn't realize until I posted that you could see part of the license plate. I guess I have been blind to what I have been seeing. I am too old school and use it for quick glances and still have my head on a swivel for when I am backing up.

If anyone else can post pics of what they are seeing, it would be nice to compare. If you do post please state if it is the 7" or 8" screen display.
My pic was taken about 8pm Central time, so it is sadly dark outside The building in the background is Ronnie's Steak House

I don't use it either. But it was squared up, no plate showing or top dark corners so it needs to be how I bought it. ha ha
I also prefer to use mirrors or turn my head. I hate that camera stuff.

Can anyone else confirm or post a pic of their rear view if it is rounded off on the top corners and picking up lic plate in display? WHich screen size do you have.

The wavy black part on the bottom is what? But mine did look like that when we first got it.

On mine it is the lip on the black plastic just below the license plate with just a bit of the dark chrome on the rear bumper cover showing.

I thought it was my silicone license plate holder/protector, but it's just the bumper.

Took mine to my dealer to get oil changed. They looked at the screen, then looked at one on the lot, same way as mine so they say it is not an issue. I am going to go to other dealerships and look at some and take pics if they are like yours.

Can anyone take pics of there rear camera in action, maybe include the whole unit so my dealer knows it is a TB screen. I am looking for other ones on dealer lots but not finding any.
