Not hard at all.just pulled bottom grill, leave that in place. There are 2 push clips that face center.then work with plastic body moulding pry bars. The rear was real easy.I popped off the tow hook cover and started from there. How hard was the install? @Jimpetut
I had painted back before I found out how inexpensive the parts areLooks good. Now do the rear one to balance it out.
Try your local GM dealership. They don't charge for the shipping and if you're lucky they might even match pricing from the GM parts web sites.I looked at the rear bumper skid but the shipping is outrageous for that part $150-225 because its oversized or being shipped via freight.
Check different gm suppliers.shipping does differ if warehouse is closerI looked at the rear bumper skid but the shipping is outrageous for that part $150-225 because its oversized or being shipped via freight.
That is next,I saw it for 209 dollars plus shipping.Waiting for price to drop some.color is Midnight Blue.Looks black until you are close.Get rid of that front chrome piece that separates the grills, too, since your vehicle is black.
I was planning on wrapping them matte black for the bottom and gloss black on the chrome inserts, but how did you remove the chrome inserts? That is next,I saw it for 209 dollars plus shipping.Waiting for price to drop some.color is Midnight Blue.Looks black until you are close.
You need plastic tools for removing molding.on the front I kept bottom grill in place, started to pull from there.as I went around once started used the tools to release clips.Back skid I started at the tow hook cap, pulled that off and worked out 1 clip at a time.I was planning on wrapping them matte black for the bottom and gloss black on the chrome inserts, but how did you remove the chrome inserts?

Do you have the GM# for the rear skid? The front one was extremely easy to install. I have the rear one on order from the dealership because it was way cheaper than ordering online due to shipping costs. Next up will be the BLack Grille insert.
I don't have the rear part number. You should be able to find it on the gmparts direct or any of the other parts suppliersDo you have the GM# for the rear skid?
