Would you happen to have a picture of the broken clips? It sounds like the clips were defective or incorrectly installed.

Bsmith1975,
Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about the broken clips. I feel your dealer is not being very understanding. I feel a shopping cart would have to hit you pretty hard for them to break, and would most likely leave some visual damage to the paint.

Hey, my fender looks just like that too right down to the two spots where the paint is worn off. I noticed it when I was washing it a couple weeks ago and thought a clip had worked loose and pushed it back in to place. Couple of days later it was popped back out. When I take mine in for its first oil change I'm gonna have the dealer get it fixed.

Why wait? (I want a new vehicle to actually look like a new vehicle rather than one falling apart at the seams.)

My Chevy dealer is always busy and you have to make appointments to get in, even for oil changes. I have an appointment this Friday to get the oil changed, get a tail light with condensation looked at, get the fender looked at, and figure out if theres a way to get around the twitchy steering "assist". Hopefully its just the clips for the fender as my dealer said they don't have a body shop and would have to outsource if its beyond that. I'll try to talk them into letting me take pictures so I can share the findings.

Well the dealership said that I would have to bring the TB into a dealership with a body shop as they don't have the ability to remove the fender. So I'll have to schedule an appointment with a dealership 70mi away to get it looked at. Last week we actually had temps over 100f so the condensation in the tail light dried up and they couldn't see where it may have gotten in so I'll have to wait for it to show up again and take it back in. As for the steering it turns out that's just the way Chevy is making their vehicles now.

I had this issue as well. It has been fixed 3 times and now the paint is chipping from them messing with it. I asked the dealer if Chevy knows why this is happening and they said it wasn't a known issue and that my truck was the only one with the issue. How does this stuff get reported back to Chevy so they know there is an issue??

It's actually a well known issue that affects hundreds if not thousands of new Trailblazer.
