Yeah, I asked for pictures in another topic, but nobody has posted any. I don't have the problem on my Trailblazer, but I'm still curious what's going on.These defective "clips" are kind of like Bigfoot. I hear people talk about them.... but nobody shows me any of them.
It is either a bad design, bad parts, bad assembly process or a combination of those possible causes. Fender joints don't just pop out of place without some proof of damage showing up somewhere. I see zero damage. It will keep going back to the dealer until it is fixed right.I don't have that problem but it looks like there may have been some small impact that bumped the clips off.
Could have happened when parked somewhere without the driver's knowledge.
Lemon laws exist for such things/issues.I had read on a previous post or another site regarding faulty clips. I was hit 4 months ago and after I picked up TB from shop I noticed it was popping out a couple weeks later and only when I traveled at higher speeds (highways) took it back to the shop and they had no idea what to do....decided to order new clips and said that's all they could do. I had made it a habit to walk the car daily and pop the clips back in 🧐 It's been about a month and of course I noticed it popped out again on Thursday. I will have to figure out my next game plan.

Did the dealer fix it? I have the same issue and they’re giving me crap about it.
