Just tinkering to see what the engine looked like without the decorative cover(?) After you remove the oil fill cap and one T30 bolt there are two points where the cover connects by standoffs on the bottom side and more of the engine can be seen.

Cool! Thanks for sharing. Are you gonna leave it off? I usually remove them unless they deaden the engine sound alot. Any change in sound with it removed?

Only took it off to see what was hiding underneath. It is back on. I would believe the sound deadening would be minimal. I did notice it looks like an oxygen sensor change should be a breeze, at least for the upper one.
