So I just bought a 23 trailblazer LT 800mils and I’ve noticed when I am doing like 62 it only happens occasionally and only when I have cruise control set I get a jerking motion like it’s stuttering / jerky motion like it’s try to figure out what gear it wants to be in. Anyone else experiencing similar problems or is this something I should be concerned about?

Congrats on your purchase. Are using regular Cruise Control or Adaptive Cruise Control? If Adaptive I am thinking the sensor is slowing you down and then accelerating back to your setting, especially if you’re on winding and hilly roads. Just a thought.

It sounds like you need the cruise system recalibrated or possibly a software update is needed.

I don’t have the adaptive cruise control I checked the vehicle, saids its software is up to date. I guess I’ll take it back to the dealer if it continues to happen

Hi, Welcome here. It's possible that there are problems with your Trailblazer's transmission. I would recommend taking it to a reputable mechanic or the dealership for inspection. When it comes to a brand-new vehicle, it is preferable to be safe than sorry. Keep us refreshed on how it goes.

I had a 2021 Trailblazer RS AWD and it did the same thing..transmission went out at 19,000 miles. I started having problems with it again and I traded it in for a full size Blazer last week

I had a 2021 RS AWD, doing the same thing and the transmission went out at 19,000 miles. Started having trouble with it again last week..traded it off for a 2023 Blazer

CVT trannys have had issues for years. That why I bought one with the 9sp. I've just seen and heard too many issues, that is part of design.
I'm a former ASE mechanic. I was sad to see GM go that direction. See there a chain in these. It is under consistent wear. That's one of the major issues. Then add sensors and computer to them and with variations in mechanical it confues the computer, and sensors. Now they are a 60k part.

I was totally and absolutely disappointed with my Trailblazer..always an issue..of course 2021 was the first year but I expected a lot more than I got for my money. I live 12 miles from the nearest town and 3 miles off the main road. My husband is an OTR truck driver and I'm by myself for days at a time..I have to have something dependable and the Trailblazer wasn't.
