I bought new 194 LEDs for my interior lights and reverse on my 2021 Trailblazer LT AWD. Everything seem to work well after installation, until I started the car and my rear view camera was stuck on without being in reverse gear (stays on when driving also).

I tried troubleshooting it by putting back the original lights and it worked, as long as I have one of the original bulbs in everything works fine. Unfortunately, I've read someone who had the same problem on a 2018 Camaro and supposedly you could buy specially made wiring harnesses for LED reverse lights but couldn't find anything for my 2021 TB.

The problem is the low wattage of the LED bulbs. You could probably use some load resistors wired inline with the bulb socket to prevent the problem your seeing. They basically trick the system into thinking the factory bulbs are still there.

I thought of that but I don't know how many ohms i would need plus I would wanted to void warranty either.

Maybe they will eventually make aftermarket LEDs wiring harness, for the mean time ill just keep the OEM

I was thinking about all LED bulbs too, but as soon as you start messing with the wiring you risk voiding the warranty. I'm sure somebody will make a harness to work with LED bulbs, but with the aftermarket being so slow it's a guess to how long we'll be waiting.

194 bulbs are not the correct type for reverse lights. The socket is the same but it uses a 921.I upgraded my LT reverse lights with Sylvania Silver Star 921.It is brighter bulb and no problems with camera or lights staying on as with LED.

You have to take out the light assembly.Disconect harness, once removed you have to take out screws to remove bulb sockets
