Just received my new issue of Consumer Reports. They have their predicted reliability ratings for 2022 vehicles. Shockingly, the 2022 Trailblazer received the highest score of 100. Hopefully, this prediction comes true. As a long time Consumer Reports reader, this is extremely surprising because they generally tend to favor non domestic manufacturers like Honda, Toyota, Lexus, etc.

I know that I'm tempting fate by posting this but from the moment that I drove my 2021 LT AWD I felt that it was rock solid and the early reports were incomplete or just wrong. It'll be a year on January 5th and I am completely in love with my TB.

So it is made in Korea so it is not real made in the USA. ha ha ha
No brand new model is with out issue. If GM keeps with this little TB and works out all the bugs it will be a great vehicle for its segment.

I think the most interesting thing to me is that the Seltos received a crazy low score of 8. So many comparison rveiews with the TB and Seltos say you'd be an idiot to buy a TB over the Seltos. Well, call me an idiot because I did buy a TB and it is nice to see that it scored so highly in reliability. No car is perfect, but I'll be happy knowing my car received a 100 as opposed to an 8. :)

I bought a 2021 Kia Sorento Hybrid EX 6 months ago and it's already having problems. Interior pieces are falling off.

I thought about a seltos or a kona but I have seen problems with the engines. I currently have a 19 Trax and maybe next year or whenever was thinking of getting one due to the high ratings. Just that Im kind of wanting to stay away from turbo charged engines. I was also thinking of a new corolla cross. I'm very surprised the Trax wasn't far under the trailblazer.

Did they make the cvt in house or out of house?
I believe both engines and both transmissions for the Trailblazer are made in Mexico.

Is that an issue being made in Mexico?
Not if they are doing it right, lol, but it would be nice if they were American made.
