Lately when backing out of my driveway, my TB brakes squeak, but not all the time. It’s completely random and only happens on a cold start and only when reversing. Has anyone else experienced this?

My 21 LT does this as well, any time I’m driving slow in drive or reverse. I tried to get them changed and the shop told me they were fine. Chevy says that’s just what the breaks sound like. There’s no way they should be that loud. It drives me crazy.

I hear ya, brand new car and squeaky sound when in reverse... is what it is I guess.

It’s the semi metallic front pads. Get the ceramic pads I reference in this thread and they will fix the noise.

I have the same issue. A few months after buying my 2021 Trailblazer in 2021 it keeps squeaking when I back up. Everytime it goes to service I tell them the problem and they say nothing is wrong with it. And I don't get why it should be squeaking already.
