In my 16 z71 it’s behind the dash. But I noticed in older models it’s in the rear. And on the new blazer it’s under the dash in the middle

I wonder what the specs are on it. I looked on Bose site but doesn’t say anything
Bose doesn't like to post specs on their products. I've run into this problem before trying to find info on other Bose equipped vehicles.

I was just curious. Doesn’t really matter it’s all coming out and being replaced. I just need the signal.
If the Trailblazer audio system is anything like the Blazer you might have to disconnect the ANC system to prevent problems. ANC will try to cancel out noise that comes from non stock speakers, amp, subs, etc. ANC is only on AWD models.
I would try to make everything as "plug & play" as possible to avoid problems. Crutchfield has a few wiring harnesses that will integrate with the system.

That’s what I did in my Colorado I have the amppro 4 in it along with a anc bypass. All plug n play. Just don’t know if they changed all the connectors

Do you happen to know the specs of the amp/speakers. In my Colorado my front doors are 1ohm amd the rest are 3ohm.

I got the activ but the Bose is not all that great. It’s all being replaced.
Replace your stuff yet? I replaced my speakers already, they were trash in the non Bose system - 20 Watts. The amp btw is in the rear cargo area on the passenger side. I posted on the forum a PDF on how to access everything far as the audio system goes.

no not yet. I went to order the navtv unit and they are upgrading it so I have to wait till that’s available. I’m going big. Once it’s all done I’ll post pics

no. Going to leave that. I have a company making me a h/o alternator. All 0 ga wire. Lithium battery, Down4SoundShop 6.5s for the doors. Sundown audio tweets. Sundown sfb500.4 for mids and highs 2 sundown x12s running off a sundown salt 4

it should be at the Bose amp.
Just snip the wire in the mic on the driver side behind the oh shit handle.
