Not sure how many people on here are also on the Facebook group (2021+ Trailblazer Group) but I found this recent post interesting. There is a company that designs devices that change the auto start/stop to work as we all (or at least many of us) wish it did; it will remember the setting from the last ignition cycle. According to the post, the company is looking for a test vehicle to develop the device for the Trailblazer and is willing to pay someone $300 and a free device if they bring their vehicle to them in West Virginia. The comments on the post suggest that some people may be considering doing it, but it doesn't appear that anyone has done it yet. I figured I'd post here in case anyone is close enough and interested as I'd love this device myself but live too far to bring in my own vehicle.

The company's site is www.autostopeliminator.com, in case you don't want to go through Facebook.

I'd also be interested in the same type of device for the sport mode button, but haven't seen anything related to that at all and don't know if this company would be able/willing to try to make one.

Why not just press the button after you start the car?
This is a way to turn it off permanently instead of each time the vehicle is started. This will eliminate the annoying feature while preserving the engine and battery.

I hope someone volunteers. I contacted this company over a year ago, but I live on CA and they're in WV, so not an option for me.

"just press the button" sure it is easy but still a pain and when you don't drive the TB much (wife drives it) when I do I forget the button the first few stops.

Im the only one that drives mine.. have had it since the end of december and even just this morning i forgot to hit the button until it turned off at the first stop.
Ive had a enough crappy vehicles in my life that even to this day a wave of panic comes over me when it happens.

We still need a volunteer in the WV area to make this a reality.
