We go to the dealership to order a new Trailblazer then begin the Loooooooooooong wait for it to come in. The dealer said if one should come to the lot before mine comes in I could take it instead.
I just want to be super sure, the only thing I don't like is the the seat bottoms seem a tad narrow (since I refuse to believe it's just my behind). I'm fairly positive we're just going to order it completely loaded but may decide not to get the sunroof. We'll see.

No remorse at all. In fact I'm liking it more each time I drive it and I'm still amazed it only has a 3cyl. It feels just as powerful as the Toyota Corolla S that I traded in for it which had a 1.8l 4cyl. The ride and interior is also much nicer.

Hi! No buyers remorse here... I got the sunroof package that comes with the auto lift gate.... I always wanted a sunroof since my 14 year old Explorer that I traded for this didn't have one... There was a LS on the lot with no sunroof (and less other features) for $6,000 less.... So basically I tell everyone I paid for a $6,000 for the panoramic sunroof and it was so worth it! :) lol
Oh, the seats are comfy but can I really say that with 650 miles on it so far :)

No remorse here. I am still WOWed by it when I see it. I find it comfortable. Being tall, I find plenty of room. I have even sat in the back and I am comfortable. I find a lot of vehicles sacrifice backseat room and feel like my head needs to be down. Not the case in this vehicle.

7 month wait. The worst part is the car has been in the city for almost 2 weeks and still not at the dealership. Kinda really passed right now. Hope yours goes smoothly.

I know everyone has there own circumstances and requirements but if you can swing the $1,770 for the Sun and Liftgate Package, the automatic liftgate is definitely worth it just by itself, even if you are only ho hum about the panoramic sunroof (although that is awesome too ;) )

No remorse or regrets here. Going on 4 months and still enjoy driving it every day. I was unbelievably lucky that my dealer had exactly what I wanted front and center right on the show room floor. So far it’s been a fun very satisfying car to drive with no problems at all. I’m still surprised at how much torque and pep the little 1.3 engine has.
Just noticed, this is my 100th post!😃

None.

Been following them since they were announced, knew I was going to buy one.

Had a Range Rover Evoque for a short stint but sold because the looming cost of breakdowns etc worried me too much. I really wanted a Chevy small size SUV that looks GOOD. And they finally delivered with the TB.

Bought fully loaded, got 0 discount because I'm Canadian and they love to gouge us, but still zero regrets. No issues with the engine, maybe if in a few years they came out with a bigger one I'd trade in for that, but only if it got as good, or better mileage. I came from a 2015 Hyundai Accent 6-spd manual that was slow as hell so this thing gets up to city speed as fast as I could ever want.

Love all the tech and safety features these come with, the RS interior & exterior looks fantastic.

Guess we will see long term how it holds up, but it isn't giving me any bad vibes at all.

None here either! Just hit 3 months, and like others have said, I love it more each time I drive it! I got the ACTIV with all the packages, definitely recommend the sun and lift gate package of you can, it gives it such an open feel inside. I am very impressed with its ‘get up and go’ for being just a 3 cyl. The wireless phone charging and connection to Apple CarPlay is something I’ve really come to love as well. The 6” sub with the Bose speakers sounds pretty nice too!

100% get the sunroof, it's so awesome! I had it in my Mailbu and the car would get extremely hot if I left the shade open but for some reason, this car does not get hot with the shade open. And its super cool! and so is the liftgate with the bowtie light!

The panoramic sunroof is great, it really brightens up the car. I love how you can open it 75% of the way and if you tap the open button again it opens 100% of the way. I didn’t think I’d really use the hands free on the liftgate but it turns out that’s really convenient and I use it almost exclusively to open the liftgate

Seconded.

I’m 6’6” and can confirm the driver’s space is more than enough. While I can’t sit behind the driver’s seat if that front seat is set for me, I could easily drive this across the country and be more than comfortable.

Love mine so far ! I’ve owned in my life : a new 01 Mustang GT , 94 Camaro Z28 , new 2010 Infiniti G37x ( close 2nd fav) , new 2015 Honda Accord v6 , and recently new 2019 Chevy Impala LT . Guess which one is my favorite all time and made me all giddy coming off the lot ???

Have had my ACTIV AWD since October and have 3600 miles on it so far. Here are my overall thoughts:

Good
  • Comfortable seats
  • Roomier than it looks on the outside
  • Speaking of looks, I really do like the appearance of the car (Mosaic Black with Zeus Bronze roof)
  • Heated seats and steering wheel are musts on any car for me and these work great!
  • Sufficent cargo space
  • Manual AWD switch. Not sure why I like this idea, but it's nice to know you can just flip a switch and you are in AWD mode in nasty weather
  • Wireless Apple Car Play. I have had no issues with this feature and am thrilled I don't even have to hook up the iPhone to a cable to use. Very convenient

Bad
  • Rough ride. I am VERY disappointed in the way the car handles bumps in the road. I got the ACTIV because I felt the RS was even rougher, but in my opinion, the car just has a harsh ride
  • Poor option packaging. I didn't realize the car lacked Blind Spot Monitoring until driving it home. How does a car with one of the biggest blind spots I have ever had not come standard with Blind Spot Monitoring? Same goes for Power Liftgate. They should have at least had a release button from inside the car for those who did not get the power option. Seems like Chevy just nickel and diming people to get the stuff that is important.
  • Stereo. Seriously, the base stereo sounds like listening to music through a tin can. Awful.
  • Halogen headlights. Others have asked as well- why use halogens sandwiched between LED DRL's and LED fog lamps? Such a poor design decision for a supposed higher trim level..

Awful
  • Rough idling. I didn't realize this on the test drive either, but man this car feels exceptionally rough when idling. I know it is due to the small engine, but it borders on obnoxious sometimes
  • Auto Start Stop. Yes, I can turn it off and I usually do, but sometimes I forget and when the car stops and the engine cuts out, I will still have my foot on the brake and it will start back up without notice. What's the point of having this feature if it doesn't work as intended?

I was considering looking at trading the car in, but after looking around a 150-mile radius, the only thing that is in the price range that I'd consider is a Ford Escape, and that's a 3 cylinder also. So I guess I'll stick with my TB for now. I drove from Cleveland to Cincinnati and Cleveland to Pittsburgh in December and aside from the bumps in the road being taken sort of harshly, it is a decent car for traveling and the gas mileage was great (averaged about 34 mpg's on both trips). Now I just need to buy some LED headlights as those halogens are just messing with my OCD!
