Newbie question. Does anyone know how to change what shows on the split screen? Right now it only shows what I am listening to on the left and recent phone calls on the right. I want to change what is on the right. If I try to see navigation it goes to the entire screen view.
Any thoughts?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately I don't have the 8 inch Bose and can't find anything online that says how to use it. That said, can you hold your finger on an app on the screen and drag it to the split screen? Or possibly hold your finger on the screen that you wish to modify and see if it gives you an option to select another app?

This is how it looks when connected. I have tried to Swipe the sections up, down, left and right.
I would prefer it to show something useful instead of recent phone calls.

It looks like the 7 inch that I have in my 2021 Trailblazer, I get the same screen and couldn't figure out how to change the display on mine. I tried holding down my finger on the recent calls view, dragging one of the NAV apps but mine doesn't work like that. I figured since you have the Bose system maybe your display was enhanced. It's possible yours may need a software upgrade for those features on the 8 inch 3rd Generation screen.

Thank you. You would think there would be a way to change it on either one. Don't know why, I just prefer it to the app screen on AA. But oh well, if that's my only complaint, I am good. Lol.

One of the forum admins stated on another thread that the "Technology Package" gives us more flexibility with the screen and allows us to load applications. I don't have the TECH PKG, and don't really use the split screen to be honest. But if I were you I'd ask if it could be added to yours, that will depend on which infotainment system is currently installed. If it's the GEN3 then you might want to go for it.

Yeah, I have the Tech pkg. W/ infotainment 3 plus.
Only flex options I really see are being able to move apps around and adding more apps. But there are none I would really use or want to add at this point. Maybe later if they add more. 🤷‍♀️

This is what i usually do, unless im running maps on Android Auto. Then i display the music info on the DIC

As far as I know you can’t change the split screen . Have the same package .


Also , did you call Shayna back? Looks like she’s really trying to get ahold of you lol !
