New guy here, i just bought a 23 trailblazer. i just noticed in the front of the radiator , in between the radiator and the front grill there is a large black foam block. should that be there

Yes, it's just crash protection foam, but it does look odd the first time you see it.

BTW, welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Trailblazer!

That is your super dooper heavy doodie bumper. Just don’t crash going forward you be aight!!

I have the 2023 RS as well and I have issues where the radio comes on when I haven't powered it on (and no I am not just muting it when I shut it off). It will just come on at random times. Anyone else have this? I had the same problem with a 2022 I had bought and then traded for this 2023--same issue! Love to know if others have the issue.

They have used this foam like this for sometime. I've just never seen it exposed like this.
