When you're backing up there are sensors along with warning lights & beeping that alert you when pedestrians or objects you might run into are in you're path. I believe the sensors are still being installed, but the control module that needs a chip is being delayed so it would be installed at a later date. What is that option?
Yeah I do wish they used different wording. When the car is dirty sometimes I'll get a warning pop up on the info cluster saying "Rear Park Assist Disabled". First time I saw it I was like.. huh? Since when has this car assisted me when parking. The title REAR PARK ASSIST is what confused me. That does not really say WATCH FOR THINGS ASSIST.![]()
I believe the lines that show you which way you're turning when using the backup camera is also part of that system. The title REAR PARK ASSIST is what confused me. That does not really say WATCH FOR THINGS ASSIST.![]()
Ha ha, old school like me. As soon as I get my C8 I will have to get used to the rear view mirror camera and back up camera since there is a huge blind spot, so that should be fun, lol.I don't even use that back up camera screen. I just never got comfy with it. I'd rather use my mirror/turn my head.
I have a 2022 Trailblazer RS with the backup camera...but the one thing I've noticed, I do not get any kind of warning chime if something/someone is in the way! I had that on my old 2016 KIA Sportage... I'm just wondering if that was an optional option with the RS model? When you're backing up there are sensors along with warning lights & beeping that alert you when pedestrians or objects you might run into are in you're path. That's interesting ... when in reverse my LT AWD with the higher tiered Convenience Package beeps if anything is in the periphery. Maybe you have this disabled?I have a 2022 Trailblazer RS with the backup camera...but the one thing I've noticed, I do not get any kind of warning chime if something/someone is in the way! Possibly? I believe I do not have the Driver's Convenience Package with my RS...so maybe the warning chimes are part of that package? That's interesting ... when in reverse my LT AWD with the higher tiered Convenience Package beeps if anything is in the periphery. Maybe you have this disabled?

Hi Ashton, my son says the VIN is required for service to see if the upgrade can be applied. Maybe you can reach out to your dealer's service department. It's worth a shot.Oh damn. That's very nice of you! Thank you
