Thank you for the add! Here is my 2022 Trailblazer RS I picked it up last Tuesday. View attachment 1116
Never saw the all Black before. I thought all the RS in Black had the red roof. I prefer the all black. But I am a nut about a dirty car, lol. I had a black Camaro once and spent 1/2 my life whenever possible during the winter at a car wash. I was extreme. My neighbor used to laugh at me and tell me you know it is just as dirty as any other color. To this day it's my favorite though. BUT to find an RS in this area (upstate New York) is like finding a cure for cancer. I finally got my hands on a white one (as if I had a choice) with black roof and I'm totally pleased. Yours looks sharp!

Yeah I ended up settling for an LT with all the options because I couldn't find an RS. But, I have learned to love the LT as it seems like everywhere I go you see RS and it makes my LT seem a little more unique.

I took an RS because that is what they had. I love it. But I too would have gladly taken an LT. I think it too is a great looking car. Assuming you picked an AWD mechanically it is the same as an RS. The big difference is styling (fascias, emblems, interior fabrics and coloring of red accents on RS). Wheels and tire size are different but to the typical person looking at the wheel/tire I doubt many think oh that is a 17 inch versus and 18 inch. So to me picking an LT is not settling, it is a great looking car.

Hey! I'm new to your forum. I had a Chevy Malibu LTZ that during Hurricane Ida, which is so sad. It had the best pickup to merge onto highways and sometimes outrace other cars. LOL
Question for you all, I'm in the process of getting a new car since my Malibu LTZ flooded on Sept 1st in PA due to IDA. I loved the pick of my LTZ but it was horrible in the snow. Can you tell me more about the pickup with the RS since I'm not able to even drive one till it comes into the dock in Baltimore, MD, and makes its way up to PA on the 16th? UGHH LOL. It's between this and a 2020 Ford Escape Titanium with all the bells and whistles. It has a great pick-up of 200 hp, which is better for getting onto all the highways in the Philadelphia area. The other car would be the 2021 Kia Seltos SX Turbo AWD, Its cute-looking (don't laugh) pickup is okay if you have your foot to the floor LOL. I think I scared the manager of the dealership test driving it, last night LOL. A test drive is a test drive! The 2 other things I didn't like about it is the steering wheel is quite smaller (reminds me of F1 cars) and the trunk is quite a bit smaller. Honestly, I think I have nixed this one, due to its lag and putting my foot to the floor. Super cool-looking car if you only drive local and aren't dealing with TT's and merging onto major expressways.
All the reports on KBB and Edmunds say the pick-up isn't that great. So I'm concerned about beating out a tractor-trailer getting onto the highways. Any advice you can give me ASAP would be greatly appreciated! If anyone lives in the Philadelphia area, please let me know! I would love to even be a passenger in the car to see how it acts/reacts!
Text or call me at 610-476-7519, if you text me say hey it's so and so from the trailblazer forum! :)
Thank you in advance! Kimberly

I love my RS it has very good pick up you will be very happy with it. It moves out into traffic very well. I get funny looks because that little car can really move quickly. Lol. If you don’t pay attention you will always catch yourself speeding. I bought mine sight unseen and had to wait two weeks to get it in. I’m sorry about your Malibu flooding I know Ida all too well I live in Louisiana close where Ida made landfall. Most of my friends that live on the gulf lost everything they owned. Get that Trailblazer RS you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you! Hopefully, you are fine after Ida.
Ij too watched endless hours of tests drives and reviews on Youtube about the Trailblazer. So many spoke about it not having the best pickup in speed, and finding flaws with such silly complaints like "the red stiches in the seats should be wider, they didn't like the black insert on the bottom of the steering wheel, the armrest should have more padding, etc., etc. A lot of these posts/videos are just "wanabe's" and not reputable, reliable. I bought my RS (2022) and was hesitant about much of what I read. I can say clearly now, what the heck were they talking about?? My previous car was a 2018 Equinox. I was very pleased with it. In every aspect. I just wanted something new in styling and a bit smaller. First of all I find the RS to be FAR more "peppy" than I anticipated based upon the reviews, and far more responsive than my Equinox. And I drive it only in "normal" mode, not "sport" mode which I imagine is even better. If you look at reviews make sure you are looking at those about the "RS" which has the 1.3L engine. "lesser" models without AWD have the 1.2L.
I paid particular attention to something you mentioned about merging into traffic on a highway. The first time I was extra careful because I expected it would not be good based upon reviews (mostly written by guys in the underwear in the mother's basement) who claimed expertise based upon nothing. But I decided to drive it like I needed to merge quickly. It was responsive, had no problems, don't worry about it.
