Hi All. Picked up a new 2022 TB last night..
Pretty good rattle coming from the back on the way home. Found this laying loose in the back....any ideas?

That's your tow hook. On the front and rear lower trim pieces is a square piece that can be removed. Behind that piece is a hole you can thread the tow hook through.

Strange that you found that tow hook laying in that spot. There is a storage compartment for it near your spare tire. It looks like it may have been used due to the scratches, maybe they needed to tow it at some point. You should inquire to your dealer.

Good point. Car was new & had 5 miles on it when I picked it up. Maybe it was towed to a holding spot at the factory waiting for chips. Noticed in this forum there's more people that have found the same at delivery

Yeah the dealerships just don't know that it's supposed to go under the trunk in that foam holder. Mine was just sitting in the back as well.

Mine was and is still in the same place, been meaning to see if there is a spot for it.
