Hi everyone! I picked up my 2022 AWD Trailblazer RS 8/3/21 fresh off the truck, with 6 miles on it. I noticed about 4/5 days ago there was a rattling noise coming from the left side near the back. I did have a stroller in the trunk along with the front license plate holder so I didn’t think much of it. Yesterday I noticed the engine was running a little harder than usual with the AC on. I was told this was normal, I thought nothing else of it. Today I took the stroller out and the rattling noise was still there. You can hear it the most on the freeway or if I’m going over some type of bump. I notified the dealership and they advised me to go to a Chevy dealer to have it checked out. As I was backing into my parking space I noticed my backup camera was not moving with me. Then a notification popped up on the dashboard saying “Service Power Steering, Drive With Care” followed by “Service ESC”. I sent pictures to my sales person and she told me not to drive until she found out if it was safe. I’m extremely disappointed because I waited months to find this color with all of the packages and accessories without having to order it or ship it from another state.
Has this happened to anyone else? Both the salesperson and the person at the service center said it seems like something is loose but if I’m already having issues like this at 376 miles what else should I be expecting?

It's happened to literally a 1/4 of them I think. I've had it happen the rattle can be one of 4 things to my knowledge so far with the TB. The heat shield is loose or wasn't secured properly, muffler is loose and hitting the underside or suspension, loose fender liner in the rear or if they took your plastic jack out they may have left shit loose.

WOW! I looked and the Jack is still there.
I’ll definitely be sure to bring this up when I take it in. I’m hoping I didn’t make a bad decision on picking this vehicle.

It's not a bad vehicle it's mostly poor foreign quality control and sadly poor pre-delivery inspection on dealerships part. They know there's several updates and things to look for but are too lazy or stupid to go through everything on receipt of the vehicle before they release it. Most common issues are up here your rattle is just QC problems something is loose somewhere you should be able to pin point it with a friends help. The brake boost issue causing your brakes to go out should be fixed on your '22 I experienced that myself if you ever do simply coast and use the sponge brake get to a stop turn off the vehicle wait 10-20secs and turn it back on and you'll have brakes again. Then the service AWD issue which is a communication glitch there's a lot that could be said on this one. When I logged it it wasn't a failure although some dealerships have went way to far in diagnostics it's one system not handshaking the other fast enough. The only failures is people engaging AWD while driving when this happens again this seems to be solved with updates I haven't had anymore issues in over 15k miles after updates and brake module replacement.

Just happened to me at 3,990 miles.
I picked my Oasis Blue up the week before you got yours. Sorry it happened to you, but glad to know it is a known problem. Dropping at the dealership tomorrow.

This exact thing happened to me. I bought mine with 7 miles on it and i noticed some noise coming from somewhere but i just disregarded it. Then every time I went over a little bump or crack on the road I saw a Yellow light come on following a clicking noise. I first thought it was my traction control but soon realized it wasn't. I then got an Alert saying the same exact messages saying to drive with care and Service ESC. The weird noises started as soon as i bought it but the Alert happened at 780 miles. I'm still waiting for the dealership to get back with me.

You most likely just need a software update.
