Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Trailblazer! Can't go wrong with white & black accents, same color my C8 will be.

So does anyone know why 2022 LT doesn’t come with blind spot detection ? I thought I was loaded with the safety package that came with the car . Now trying to figure out aftermarket .

It's part of the "Driver Confidence Package" which is optional on the LT, Activ and RS.

I have the driver confidence package . Also found out I don’t have Alexa on infotainment unit . Called Onstar and said my car doesn’t carry due to hardware limitations. I have the package with the 8” screen also ( forgot what’s it called ) .
Have you looked through the settings to make sure it isn't turned off?

It’s not on there . Even the dealer said it wasn’t . I’m so confused with all the packages that’s out . So I now I just have a basic backup camera that does spot like people ( triangles ) but does it detect crossing traffic ? I’m not sure
Do you have the 1.3L or the 1.2L? The 1.3L requires blind spot package.

I traded a 2016 Impala for a 2021 Trailblazer RS. Mainly because my wife hated driving the bigger Impala that did not have much in the way of technology. I still miss the Impala. It was far superior for highway trips and got nearly the same fuel economy (2.5 liter).

I was careful when I searched for the Trailblazer to be sure I found one with the technology package.
Sounds like you are somewhat disappointed with your Trailblazer.

Since nearly every manufacturer has discontinued full size sedans, We didn't have many options.

Yea I had a v6 2019 Impala . I lost value in the car because someone rear ended me . I drive quite a bit so I took advantage of getting 21k for my car trade in ( way above value ) and wanted something with better gas mileage

"Side Blind Zone Alert" is part of the "Driver Confidence Package", so you must have that package in order to have that feature. It's an optional package for LT, Activ and RS trims. The only package which requires the 1.3 engine is the "Sun and Liftgate Package".

If you have Confidence Package, you have blind spot warning. Check your manual.

To get Alexa you need the Infotainment Package 3 PLUS. The Package 3 (no PLUS) does not have Alex.

I see the problem, you have the Driver Confidence Package 2 that costs $145 and only includes Rear Park Assist, the regular Drivers Confidence Package which costs $345 has Lane Change Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Park Assist.

I bought my 2022 RS and lost a couple of features I had on my previous car (Equinox). Most I could care less about but I too was surprised that it had no blind spot indicator on the RS. I quickly got used to not having it and it has made me a bit more careful and not changing lanes too quickly. I too thought perhaps having Alexa on the screen would be cool. But again, my phone is always laying there on the console, so it has not been a big deal at all not having it on the screen. Enjoy the ride. I love it (mine too is summit white)
