I have a 2021 Trailblazer RS with 5000 miles on it. I have noticed that the engine is very shaky. I pop the hood and you can see engine shaking. My idle is at 1000 rpm which seems kinda high. It shakes so bad it feels like someone is literally outside rocking my car. Brought it to dealer and they said it’s normal and without any codes there is nothing they can do which is very wrong. Told them to pop open the 2022 trailblazer RS good and see if it shakes and they refused. Please help y’all!

Call Chevrolet customer service and inform them of the dealers actions. They will not tolerate that. (from an ex dealer employee)

Mine is smooth as can be. Something is wrong.

Definitely not normal and as suggested above try a different dealership and report the one that wouldn't help you to GM.

Drop off at dealer today. The head mechanic came out and said that the excessive vibration is normal. I said bring out another vehicle and compare. Then he said that the new ones will not have as much vibration because new motor mounts. I told him mine only have 5000 miles. Then said that they will use a stethoscope and see if it falls withing GM vibration guidelines. I'm really lost for words and how these dealerships are stating everything is always normal when I know it's not

That is F'g BS. So at 5k your motor mounts are now OLD and worn. ha ha ha ha.
If he said EXCESSIVE then that word alone means it is TO MUCH!
Can you take it to another dealer? Sitting in the car in park, heel stopped at a light you should feel NO motor shake.

Just got off phone with customer service and they said if dealer says it's operating fine there is nothing they can do......I swear KIA customer service was better than this shit

I'd do the same drill. If they say that it is normal, tell them you want to go start another one on the lot and compare.

I took a short video of my TB running, of the engine and then show the mileage on it. Mine is pretty smooth at idle but I did notice when the AC was on it did kick up a little shaking then visually. But nothing I would feel at a red light in drive.

They also told me that if it's not throwing a code they can't diagnosis what's wrong and all is fine.....🤦🏽‍♂️

I’ll throw in my 2 cents. Before buying my Trailblazer i did some research on 3 cylinder engines. I found many reviews mentioned they were prone to vibration/shaking as this was inherent with 3 cylinder engines. Albeit, manufactures have been able to overcome this using specially designed motor mounts and from the reviews I read prior to purchasing mine this issued was addressed by GM and was not present in the trailblazer, I was sure to be mindful of this when I first test drove one. That being said, mine is a 2021 RS 1.3, first year out and has a very, slight shake, hardly noticeable if your not trying to detect it. My guess is you need to have your motor mounts evaluated. Was this present when you purchased it? Faulty or loose mount is my guess. Keep trying, don’t give up and good luck! Keep us posted.
